Adelphi University School of Social Work Continuing Education has launched a 4-week online LMSW/LCSW test preparation workshop, with the Director of Continuing Education at Adelphi School of Social Work. A personalized approach to teaching and learning from an experienced social worker and test prep educator.

Overview

These weekly 2-hour sessions will be offered via Zoom, and will include an overview of the ASWB LMSW/LCSW exam for tips and strategies for passing the licensing exam, and opportunities to practice with sample exam questions.

In addition to the 8-hours of face-to-face virtual instruction with the professor, you will also be provided additional learning activities to work on asynchronously, and be provided access to an Adelphi University learning platform that includes practice questions, discussion boards and opportunities for engaging and connecting with your colleagues who are also preparing to take the exam.

Please note, this workshop does not provide CE credits.

All workshop sessions will be from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM via Zoom. The following dates:

This course is being offered virtually via Zoom. You will need a computer, with stable internet service, a webcam, and audio to actively participate. Although a smartphone could be used, it’s not ideal. If you have questions about your technology capabilities please don’t hesitate to ask us before registration!

Additional Materials Needed

The book is NOT included with registration, but needed for participation in the course. While we highly recommend using the latest editions of the book (currently in 4th edition), the 2nd and 3rd edition will be sufficient for this course.

Renee M. Rawcliffe, LMSW

Renee Rawcliffe Headshot

Renee is the Director of Continuing Education and Professional Development at Adelphi University School of Social Work. Renee spent 18 years in direct practice working with vulnerable individuals and communities impacted by disasters, and provided leadership and content expert training to human service organizations responding to these events. Renee has extensive teaching experience in online learning environments, and has worked with hundreds of students in preparing them for the licensing exam, both through facilitation of test prep workshops and individualized tutoring sessions.

Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations made seven working days or fewer before the event for any reason—or for no-shows. We can provide credit towards a future workshop up to 24 hours before the event. After that, no credit will be issued.
