The Pierrot Consort, the faculty ensemble of the Pierrot Chamber Music Festival, performs an evening of music.

General admission $25 and seniors/students $15.

The Pierrot Consort, the faculty ensemble at the Pierrot Chamber Music Festival, which includes Susan Deaver, flute; Dale Stuckenbruck, violin; Veronica Salas, viola; Maureen Hynes, cello; and Heawon Kim, piano; joined by guest artists Heejeon Ahn, violin and Karen Lindquist, harp.

The performance will include:
Florent Schmitt: Suite en Rocaille for flute, violin, viola, cello and harp
Jessie Montgomery: “Strum” for string quartet
Samuel Coleridge-Taylor: Piano Quintet in G minor

The Pierrot Consort has performed at Merkin Concert Hall, Weill Recital Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Bartok Society at Saranac Lake, the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Conn., BOCES, the Stockbridge Chamber Concerts in Great Barrington, Mass., the St. Paul Chapel Series at Columbia University and for the Islip Arts Council. The artist members of the ensemble are actively involved in the musical life of New York City and have a commitment to the cultural enrichment of Long Island.

The Pierrot Chamber Music Festival celebrates its 43rd Summer Season this July with a series of six concerts. The Pierrot Chamber Music Festival is an intensive, two-week program for precollege and college students that focuses on the study and performance of standard and new chamber music repertoire. The Festival Concert Series is supported by the Department of Music at Adelphi University and the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center.
