Food Share Volunteer Opprotunity

Calling all volunteers! Volunteer with the Community Solidarity food share to help distribute food and essential items to communities.

Community Solidarity is a nonprofit organization and a grassroots movement. Organizers of Community Solidarity champion that access to food is a human right, not a privilege. They seek to combat hunger, poverty, and homelessness through by empowering communities. Community Solidarity organizes food-shares throughout Long Island and NYC in order to provide low-income communities with groceries, fresh produce, and warm vegan meals. 

Transportation will not be provided. However, the Adelphi Bus shuttle will arrive at the nearby Hempstead Train Station, about 3/4 mi away from the food share.
