Open Educational Resources: Find, Evaluate, Adopt
Event Actions
Open educational resources (OER) are class materials that are free to access and licensed for reuse, meaning they can be edited or combined to create a new, custom resource for your students.
In this workshop, Digital Publishing Librarian Chris Barnes will explain how to find and evaluate OER for use in your teaching, as well as how to adopt and adapt them for your course. During the first half of this hour-long event, Dr. Barnes will introduce various resources for finding and working with OER. In the second half of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to search for and evaluate specific OER which could be used in their current or future courses.
