About the Speaker
Deborah Zawisza is the Willumstad School’s 2023-24 Executive in Residence. She has over 30 years of technology and leadership experience. A graduate of Adelphi University, Zawisza was awarded a degree in management and started her career at Aetna, spending nearly 18 years on the Information Technology Leadership team before consulting with PwC. After spending eight years at PwC, Zawisza transitioned into the insurance field accepting a position as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer with The Pheonix Companies and then moving to Travelers, where she was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Claims Services. For the past four years, Zawisza has been a leadership team member at Datos Insights, where she currently serves as the Senior Principal, Insurance Practice.
This event counts towards the Leadership Certificate Program. To earn your Leadership Certificate Program certificate, students must participate in 6 workshops during one academic year, complete CORE and SafeZone training, and submit workshop evaluations. Registration is required for Leadership Certificate participants.
