Join us for a book reading of the latest work by Ana I. Simón-Alegre, PhD.

In celebration of Ana I. Simón-Alegre’s recent book publication, the Latin American and Latinx Studies program, the Center for African, Black and Caribbean Studies, the University Libraries, and the Hispanic Serving Institution Task Force are hosting a book reading.

Please join us at Swirbul Library on November 15th at 3:00 p.m. to recognize the publication of Concepción Gimeno de Flaquer (1850-1919): Her Personal Letters, Short Stories, and Journalism, authored by Professor Ana I. Simón-Alegre. This event begins with a reception at 3:00 p.m., author interview, and a reading of selected book passages. Be sure to arrive in time for the raffle.
