Adelphi University Libraries Diversity Council invites students, staff, and faculty to celebrate Black Poetry Day by volunteering to read one or more poems from our library collection of Black poets. By exploring themes of identity, equity, joy, and social justice, we are honoring the powerful contributions of Black poets throughout history.

Sign-up at the library Service Point on the first floor of Swirbul Library to read a poem during the event.
