This year’s Adelphi for a Cause 5K and Fun Run will benefit the Girl Scouts of Nassau County.
Run, walk, or stroll in this year’s 5K, 1K and Kids Fun Run at our 7th annual spirit weekend!
New for 2023, the 1K option! Perfect for those who may have outgrown the Kids Fun Run or those new to running.
- Check-in opens (Nexus Building Entrance): 8:00 am
- Kids Fun Run (Nexus Parking Lot): 9:00 am
- 1K Run/Walk (Nexus Parking Lot): 9:15 am
- 5K Run/Walk (Nexus Parking Lot): 9:45 am
The Kids Fun Run is recommended for children ages 2-7. The Kids Fun Run is a short-distance dash on campus, grouped by age. All children will receive a medal.
About the Girl Scouts of Nassau County
Girl Scouts of Nassau County is over 12,000 strong and believes that every girl from Nassau County has the power to change the world. For over 104 years, they have come together to make friends and serve our community and the world because Girl Scouts create the world they want to live in and strive to make it better every single day. Girl Scouts need champions. So they can explore their strengths, take on new challenges, and can always be themselves, regardless of background or ability. Girl Scouts need a community willing to invest in their dreams. They need a network of volunteers and supporters cheering them on and showing them what’s possible.
