Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia presented by Bedlam Theater Company
Event Actions
Join Dean Rudolph to see Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia! Language, science, and philosophy come together in this play about a young woman studying math, physics, and nature.
Tom Stoppard’s absorbing play takes us back and forth between the centuries and explores the nature of truth and time, the difference between the Classical and the Romantic temperament, and the disruptive influence of sex on our orbits in life – ‘the attraction which Newton left out’. Stoppard recently became the most-winning playwright in Tony history with his 2023 win for Leopoldstadt.
Students may travel from campus with Dean Dinan or make their way independently.
Students need to register for the event through the Honors College. Tickets will cost students $10.
