Artivism: The Power of Art for Social Transformations joins a panel discussion for the kick-off of Little Odysseus / Alice in the Writer’s Land / Journalists of the Future Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation “Do I have rights? I have rights!” followed by a day-long of events for children.

  • Artivism: The Power of Art for Social Transformation, and distinguished guests from Greece.

The daylong event, “Journalists of the Future”, will take place at the Panos Solomonides Multipurpose Hall.

Introduction and panel discussion with the Artivism Team will be followed by:

  1. Escape Book Room / The Logos Project: With an emphasis on the right to Education & Information, children will follow the mystery of libraries, words and stories, through puzzles and twists!
  2. Workshops Empowerment Art Collectors and Tailors of the Future & “Wearable Art for a Purpose” Artivism: The Power of Art for Social Transformation. With an emphasis on the right to opinion and point of view, the children collect phrases from the books and “stitch” them with the works of art they create, finding their own voice and conveying messages of hope!
  3. Experiential workshop “Build the City of Rights to Live In”. Myrofora Papadopoulou, the President of the Children’s Rights Network; Panos Christodoulou, the author of the book “What Colour is your smile?” and the educator Koula Panagou are coming to our celebration to co-create the City of Rights!
