The coaching minor blends training in coaching, fitness and sports theory to prepare you to coach in a broad range of settings, from schools to recreational, club and community programs. You can also work as a sports official, referee or umpire, or coach your own clients in private practice.

How Do I Declare a Minor?
Consult your adviser as soon as possible to discuss the coaching minor’s requirements. When you’re ready to declare, complete the Change of Major/Minor form on the Registrar website.
