Dr. Brian Mooney is a cultural anthropologist and former attorney who is serving as the Spring 2023 Research Fellow with the Levermore Global Scholars Program. His lecture will focus on his research as a cultural anthropologist and scholar of India, the legal aftermath, and survivors’ activism following the 1984 Union Carbide chemical disaster in the city of Bhopal. Lite refreshments and snacks will be served.
