Volunteer Opportunity: Community Fundraising Leadership Team
Event Actions
We need your help! We know you have been such an invaluable part of our fight against cancer and because of that dedication and commitment to the American Cancer Society, we wanted to make you aware of an additional opportunity to make a difference called the Community Fundraising Leadership Team (CFLT). And this is where we need your help. To be able to have even greater impact and provide more help and hope to cancer patients and their families, we need volunteers to be part of the CFLT.
That might sound like a lot, but the wonderful thing about the CFLT is that you can give as little or as much time as you want.
- Want to help out but only have a couple hours a month?
The CFLT has you covered! - Looking for something outside of your event?
The CFLT has a place for you. - Have a skill or interest that is not being met?
The CLFT can help with that. - Looking at rolling off a current leadership position but want to still help in the fight?
Come on down to the CFLT!
The Northeast Region CFLT is a group of experienced and trained volunteers who provide support for other volunteers through leadership development, project implementation, and recognition. They work to share innovative ideas and stories around our community fundraising program. Projects currently underway include volunteer leadership engagement, event experience training, conferences, and ACS literacy .
If any of the examples above sound familiar or if you just want to see what all the hubbub is about, you can fill out this brief CFLT Interest Survey and someone from the CFLT will reach out to you.
You can also attend our upcoming CFLT Interest Call on Wednesday, October 26, from 7-7:45 p.m. Just click on this Zoom link to join the call on October 26.
