Monroe Marshall (he/him) graduated from Adelphi in December 2017 with a neuroscience degree, honors college diploma and psychology minor. He had been on the Eboards of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA), Chabad Jewish student group, and Circle K, and a member of various queer advisory boards. He went on to get his Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology and certificate in public health preparedness and surveillance at the UAlbany School of Public Health and he currently works in research at the NYS Office of Mental Health, focusing on services for children with severe mental illness and their families. Outside of work he uses his lived experience as a queer, autistic, mentally ill person for advocacy such as with The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and on his Instagram accounts @queer_and_jewish and @invisible_illness_visibility. Monroe currently lives in upstate NY with his wife and two cats and he is obsessed with musicals.
