LGBTQ+ First Year Empowerment Group

The LGBTQ+ First Year Empowerment Group meets weekly for the first six weeks of the Fall semester. This group is designed to being together LGBTQ+ students in their first year at Adelphi (either as a new college student or as a transfer student). Each week will cover new topics related to the experiences of LGBTQ+ college students both in general, and the specifics of being LGBTQ+ at Adelphi and offer opportunities to build connections to other LGBTQ+ students as well as the many LGBTQ+ friendly resources on campus and in the community.
