Safe Zone Training

A Safe Zone is a place where all people can feel safe, supported and welcome, particularly members of the lesbian, gay, bi‐sexual and transgender communities.

Identify and support students, faculty and staff who identify as a Safe Zone advocate on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community. Through education, advocacy and awareness, be empowered to speak out against homophobia and heterosexism. Contribute to an open campus climate that is safe, accepting and just for all members of the University community.

Please note that in order to receive credit for this training, you must be present for the entire duration of the workshop.

Open to all undergraduate and graduate students at Adelphi.
