The Women’s in Leadership Lunch allows women who are staff or faculty members at Adelphi to share their stories of success with female identifying students. This space provides an opportunity for students to hear about their life experiences, careers and goals, as well as successes and challenges they’ve faced through their career, ultimately leading them in roles they are in today.

We are excited to announce that for our inaugural program in this series, Tracy Stopler Ms., R.D. will be joining us! We will be serving lunch and Tracy will be offering a giveaway of one of their books!

Tracy Stopler M.S., R.D., is a registered dietitian in private practice with a Master’s Degree in nutrition from New York University. She has been an adjunct nutrition professor at Adelphi University for twenty-five years. Tracy has earned two certificates in Clinical Training for Mind/Body Medicine from Harvard Medical School (2010, 2019). Tracy was passionate in her role as the Enough Abuse Campaign Coordinator at The Safe Center. Prior to this role, she served as a volunteer SAFER Advocate (Survivor Advocate for Emergency Response), and as a child victim’s advocate (2015-2019). Tracy’s TEDx talk about overcoming trauma earned her a standing ovation. Her favorite personal achievements have been summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro and completing her award-winning novels, The Ropes That Bind and My Brother Javi: A Dog’s Tale.
