2021 Nationwide Relay for Life Kickoff!

Mark your calendars! On Thursday, February 4, at 8pm ET, we’re coming together as a community for the 2021 Nationwide Relay for Life Kickoff! This virtual event will feature speakers, stories, and plenty of inspiration to jumpstart your new year of fundraising. We hope you will join us!

Because of Relayers like you, we have made powerful progress together in the fight against cancer. But there is more we can do this year:

• Reduce cancer mortality. We have an opportunity to support cancer patients and their families through our live, 24/7 helpline at 1-800-227-2345 and our website cancer.org and to help fund the future and take meaningful steps toward our goal to reduce cancer mortality 40% by 2035.
• Stop the decline in cancer research funding. A generation of research depends on what we do right now. ACS is there for scientists at pivotal points in their career – to give them the support they need to keep great research going or to take that next step in turning their ideas from a dream to reality.
• Advancing health equity. Improving access to care also depends on what we do right now. The American Cancer Society believes everyone should benefit from advances in research, prevention, diagnosis, and the treatment of cancer. All people deserve a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer. No one should be disadvantaged in their fight against cancer because of how much money they make, the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, their gender identity, their disability status, or where they live.
