Adelphi students, faculty and staff can drop-off any expired or unused drugs for safe disposal. No questions asked.
Adelphi University Student Counseling Center’s Alcohol and Other Drugs Program, the Adelphi University Department of Public Safety and Transportation and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public its 19th opportunity in 10 years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs*.
The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches. Vaping devices will be accepted. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
You can also choose to drop-off your unused drugs on Saturday, October 24.
