Sustainability initiatives are in full bloom at Adelphi.
In light of Earth Day—Wednesday, April 22, 2015—we look at the multiple ways Adelphi is showing its commitment to environmental responsibility. With its myriad of green energy initiatives— from installing geothermal and solar heating and cooling systems to supporting innovative research—Adelphi continues its legacy of creating a sustainable campus and world.

Read Dr. Russell’s persuasive introduction.
Going Solar
Justyna Widera, Ph.D., an associate professor of chemistry, has long been committed to green energy and the research and development of more efficient solar cells. Learn about her recent endeavors.
