Endowed and expendable scholarships keep Adelphi competitive as we offer programs to study at Columbia University in various fields of engineering.
By now, I hope that you have heard or read about Adelphi students who continue their studies at Columbia University in various fields of engineering, following an Adelphi major in physics, mathematics and computer science, or environmental science. We offer a number of “3-2” programs, whereby students enroll for three years at Adelphi, and then continue on to schools such as Columbia, NYU Dental, New York Law, and others at which they can earn advanced degrees.
The students attracted to these accelerated programs are often admitted to the most competitive institutions in the country and most often receive substantial offers of assistance from Adelphi and from other institutions which want them to enroll. Endowed and expendable scholarships keep Adelphi competitive with these other institutions and allow students to make the choice to succeed in our small classes with caring faculty and then proceed to the Columbia School of Engineering and others internationally recognized graduate programs.
