The Libraries invite you to attend a training session on the use of Social Explorer (Oxford U. Press), a collection of interactive maps providing demographic data for the U.S., from 1979 to present. The session will be held in Swirbul Library on November 18, 2014, at 11 A.M. in the Kelly Conference Room.
You can access Social Explorer on the Libraries Databases A-Z page. Demographic information and census data can be queried and manipulated at a variety of geographic levels, including neighborhoods, counties, and state. Custom reports and maps can be generated using the “Maps” and “Reports” tabs.
