See what your fellow alumni are up to and submit your own note.

Margot Friedman, M.S. ’11, feels her education and past experiences made her realize the importance of effective communication that begins during early childhood. Successful professional and personal relationships demand the ability to convey a clear message through conversational exchange, and that is exactly what she is setting out to do. She recently launched a business in accent modification called Accent Reduction Communication (www.accentrc.com) which aims to bring the world a little closer through old good old-fashioned conversation.

Jeffrey Kay, B.A. ’66, recently retired as chief of the Economic Crimes Section of the United States Attorneys’ Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In September 2013, the University of Toledo College of Law invited him to deliver a lecture on legal ethics for attorneys and white collar crime investigations.
