Former Lieutenant Colonel, Medical Service, US Army
Dr. Lewandowski is a Professor in the Department of Social Work, College of Health and Human Services at George Mason University. In addition to research and education, she has experience in social work practice and administration across a 30-year career in several states. Dr. Lewandowski is an Army Reserve veteran and served as a clinical social worker and Team Prevention Leader for a combat stress unit in Iraq. She is a Congressionally appointed member of the Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee for the Readjustment of Veterans.
