IT Staff Promotions - Spring 2013

The Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce the following promotions for the Spring 2013 semester. Please join us in congratulating:

• Kerry Nicollet was promoted to Manager of Project Management and Administration. She has been with the University for more than six years, starting as Administrative Assistant and later as IT’s Office Manager. In her new position, Kerry oversees project management, procurement and inventory control, office administration, and operating budgets; this staff realignment is expected to help meet the IT’s Strategic Plan as well as ensure greater efficiency and accountability in the department. Kerry is an alumna of Adelphi, receiving an M.A. in Secondary Education. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University.

• Isabel Tan was appointed to Manager of Database Support Services. Isabel previously held the titles of Programmer/Analyst and Manager of Special Projects; she has worked with Adelphi since 2006. In her new role, Isabel manages all data warehousing and document imaging. She also supervises the Database Support team, which provides support to Adelphi’s auxiliary systems used by all academic and administrative departments.

• Jackie Bowen was promoted to the position of IT Asset Coordinator. Jackie is a current Adelphi graduate student pursuing her master’s degree in speech pathology, and has been with the IT department for four years in student worker positions. As Asset Coordinator, Jackie oversees the updates, maintenance, and accuracy of IT’s inventory and assets database, facilitates office operations, and works with IT Procurement to ensure best management of equipment.
