Adelphi’s Winter Wonderland event on Saturday, December 8 offered a welcome diversion for 278 children and their families who were affected by Superstorm Sandy. Freeport resident and Adelphi alumna Tonia Brendel ’84, M.S. ’90, who brought her daughter, said, “It was refreshing to get her out of the neighborhood.”
