President Christine M. Riordan published an op-ed in the “Huffington Post” about bias in the workforce and how to mitigate it.
In an op-ed published by the Huffington Post, President Christine M. Riordan addressed the dangers of devaluing colleagues based on unfound biases about appearance and difference.
“We live and work in a time that supposedly values diversity and inclusion,” she wrote. “However, there is ample evidence that workers often feel excluded and devalued by others and that leads to many negative outcomes.
Dr. Riordan offered seven tips to take daily to “end devaluation in ourselves and others.”
