Adelphi University Robert B. Willumstad School of Business is pleased to announce that it will start offering a new graduate degree, M.S. in supply chain management this spring semester. This innovative program will prepare students for careers in the rapidly expanding field of supply chain management and logistics which touches nearly all businesses. Students have the flexibility to complete their program on either a full- or part-time basis, in as little as one year.
Managing the supply chain efficiently and effectively has become critical today for most businesses as they try to optimize multiple production, sourcing, and distribution processes across the world.
Designed for working professionals and those seeking entry into positions in logistics, sourcing, and related fields, Adelphi’s rigorous, leading-edge program comprised of 30-36 credits (depending on prior coursework). A set of core courses is complemented with a selection of electives and an integrated capstone. Graduates of the program will be fully prepared to meet the growing demand for trained professionals in this expanding sector of the economy. Supply chain management positions are found in all types of organizations from manufacturing to healthcare, financial services to retailing.
The Adelphi business faculty has distinguished itself in the area of supply chain management and provided expertise to the field. Students pursuing the degree will learn from professors Zhimin Huang, Allan Ashley and Chirag Surti.
