A Commencement to Remember
The Adelphi community joined together to celebrate the exceptional achievements of the Class of 2025 at Adelphi's 129th Commencement. Approximately 1,244 undergraduate degrees,1,131 graduate degrees and 54 doctorates were conferred. “As you choose your path forward, continue to expect extraordinary from yourselves and from life,” President Christine M. Riordan urged. "Believe in yourself and your ability to shape the future."

A National Award for an Inspiring STEM Program
An innovative program offering opportunities for undergraduate students to conduct research alongside faculty members, as well as scholarships, mentoring, career guidance and paid summer internships is boosting Adelphi’s support for STEM students. Funded through a $2.49 million National Science Foundation (NSF) grant, the program also received a 2025 Inspiring Programs in STEM Award from Insight Into Academia. Adelphi is the only college or university in New York to earn this award this year.
