Below are some of the most common devices that students try to register to the Adelphi network. If your device is not listed below, please consult your device manufacturer’s documentation and contact the Help Desk if you need more assistance.

Amazon Echo

  1. In the Alexa app, open the left navigation panel and then select Settings.
  2. Select your device and then select Update Wi-Fi. If you’re adding a new device to your account, select “Set Up a New Device” instead.
  3. On your Echo device, press and hold the Action button until the light ring changes to orange. Your mobile device will then connect to your Echo device.
  4. A list of available Wi-Fi networks appear in the app.
  5. Select any Wi-Fi network. Scroll down on this screen until you see the MAC address.

Amazon Fire TV Stick

  1. From the Fire TV device’s home screen, scroll to “Settings.”
  2. Next, scroll to the right and select “Device.”
  3. Next, select “About.”
  4. Next, scroll down to “Network.” You’ll find the MAC address information on the right hand side.

Apple TV

  1. Navigate to Settings > General > About
  2. The MAC address will be formatted in six groups of two hexadecimal digits separated by colons. (example: c8:68:cd:4e:5e:c9)

Nintendo 3DS

  1. From the HOME menu, highlight and select the System Settings Icon.
  2. Select “Internet Settings.”
  3. Tap “Other Information.”
  4. Tap “Confirm MAC Address.” Your system’s MAC Address will be displayed on the screen.

Nintendo Wii U

  1. From the Wii U Menu, select “System Settings.”
  2. Using the Left Stick select the “Internet” icon and press the A Button.
  3. Select “View MAC Address” and wait a moment for the MAC address to be displayed.
  4. When you are finished, tap “Back.”

Nintendo Switch

  1. Select “System Settings” from the HOME Menu.
  2. Scroll down through the menu and select “Internet.”
  3. The Nintendo Switch console’s MAC address will be listed under “System MAC Address.”

Roku

  1. On the back on your Roku, there are a pair of six 2-digit pairs separated by colons, e.g. 00:0D:0A:1H:3G:5C. One set is for the Ethernet connector and for the other for the wireless connector.
  2. Alternatively, from the Roku home screen, select Settings > Network > locate the value next to “Wireless MAC Address”

Sony PlayStation 4

  1. From the home menu, navigate to Settings > System > System Information
  2. There will be two MAC addresses listed on this screen for either LAN Cable (Wired Connection) or Wi-Fi depending on how you’re connecting your PS4.

Sony PlayStation Vita

  1. Go into Settings and then select Start.
  2. Swipe up on the screen to scroll down. Select System.
  3. Select System Information.
  4. The MAC Address is displayed on the screen.

Xbox One

  1. Navigate to the Settings menu from your xbox one. This can be done by clicking the Xbox button in the middle of your controller, and scrolling to the right
  2. Click Network > Advanced Settings
  3. There will be two MAC addresses listed on this screen for either LAN Cable (Wired Connection) or Wi-Fi depending on how you’re connecting your XBOX One.
