Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy focuses on establishing active learning spaces, combining traditional lectures with using cutting-edge educational materials. I center my classroom around the convergence of traditional lectures that convey both the general and critical pieces of knowledge around course themes, with a strong influence on the use of digital resources that allow students to immerse themselves into resources that are familiar and accessible. I advocate for students to examine sources drawn from a particular era to make worthwhile and enduring connections from the past to the present.
