A Message from Adelphi University Executive Leadership
The University has announced updates to tuition and housing costs for the upcoming academic year. Read the full message from executive leadership.
The Adelphi University Board of Trustees recently approved an increase in undergraduate tuition for the 2025–2026 academic year; full-time undergraduate tuition for the coming academic year will be $50,110.
Also new for 2025–2026 are two new opt-out programs aimed at reducing textbook and tuition insurance costs for all our students:
- Panther eBundle program—a lower-cost program that gives you easy digital access to all your required course materials, including textbooks, at the most affordable prices
- Tuition Refund Plan, offered by A.W.G. Dewar, Inc.—an elective insurance plan that provides 80 percent coverage of the insured term’s tuition and fees if a student needs to withdraw from classes and leave school due to medical or mental health reasons
A breakdown of tuition and fees, housing and dining plan costs can be found online and will be shared in the Fall 2025 bills, which will be generated at the end of June, with a payment due date of July 21, 2025.
At Adelphi, our Executive Leadership continually reviews and manages budgeted expenses to minimize costs while ensuring the sustainability of essential services and programs that directly benefit our students. Our commitment to student success is reflected in consistently strong retention and graduation rates. The value of an Adelphi degree is evident in the achievements of our graduates, who benefit from higher-than-average starting salaries and strong employment outcomes. This past year, both The Wall Street Journal and Forbes recognized Adelphi as the top private university on Long Island for the second consecutive year, a testament to the excellence of our academic offerings and the strength of our alumni network.
These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to advancing the goals of our Momentum 2 strategic plan, which includes the continued excellence of our academic programs, fostering an inclusive community focused on student success, and supporting the smart growth of our infrastructure and our financial stability.
Furthermore, we continue to offer robust financial aid to support our students. In the 2024–2025 academic year, we awarded more than $132 million in institutional grants and scholarships to help offset tuition costs. We understand that families are making a significant investment in their students’ education, and we remain dedicated to providing the financial resources and support necessary for our students to reach their full potential and succeed during and after their time at Adelphi.
